Webcam imagery help mountain drivers quickly judge the weather and driving conditions on their scenic visit to Idyllwild. With this spirit, we are providing a "bird's eyes" view of Idyllwild from three webcams. The first is located near the town center of Idyllwild. The second cam location is in our nearest town, in terms of driving distance, Hemet. The third locale is 180 degrees in the opposite direction, sunny Palm Springs. The live webcam image below is from Georgias. The camera is facing south and the street you see is North Circle Drive, the main drag of Idyllwild. Below are the rise & set times (24 hour format) of all the planets in our solar system. The celestial bodies are arranged in chronological rise time order and can be experienced in the Idyllwild area by looking in the lower southeast sky (towards Garner Valley). If the name of the planet is in purple, then it is currently visible under suitable conditions. To view the setting planet, look in the lower southwest sky, towards Hemet.
